| It is believed that SEGA and the Sonic Team are taking a step back to the classic Sonic but in a way that they dont give him up entirely to the always complaining sonic community. This has been proven with the final emblem of Sonic 4. Sonic 4's logo proves that SEGA and the Sonic Team are giving fans what they want, but not completely caving into those wants. For example, the always complaining part to the sonic community has wanted the return to the classic black eyed, "chubby", little Sonic since Sonic DX. SEGA and the Sonic Team are releasing Sonic 4 which is a step back to the classics, but did they listen to the community on the appearance of Sonic? Another example is the recent release of Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing. When was the last time we saw Sonic in a car? Also, if you havent noticed, Sonic's car in SASR is a blue version of the one in Sonic Drift: One last example is in another news article: Sonic takes to Alton Towersin the UK. Which features this: A remodeled into current Sonic Spinball. So it is beleived that SEGA is returning to the old Sonic.......with the new Sonic. So basically going back to the classics without losing the current state of the character Sonic. Making an entirely new generation. | |

| What I don't understand is why everyone hates the new Sonic games. I know S&TBK wasn't that great but Unleashed was freaking awesome! SEGA is trying their hardest, but people are harder to please now a days. Sorry people of America but this is 2010 not freaking the '90's where there was hardly any tech making these GREAT games.
The people who have been rating "poor" on all the recent games can go die.
But I do agree SEGA could've atleast put more than enough work in to Shadow the hedgehog and Sonic '06.
Hopefully Sonic 4 will bring peoples hopes up.

| Exactly! The people who have been saying that all these Sonic games are bad are just sucking up to nintendo or something. This is proven by the fact that some people are already complaining about Sonic 4! People have written essays on why Sonic 4 is going to suck based on 3 seconds of gameplay from the trailer and sonic's outlook! People say: "Aw, they lied to us again! This game isn't 2D! Its 2.5D!" And: "How can you return to the classics with that ugly new sonic?! If I dont see my old pal with the 'chubby' body, black eyes, and shorter quils, this game is dead to me!" And all together they sound like this: "This game is just going to be another crap sonic game."
I cant believe it.
But fans all across the world have already started to make fun of the haters, realizing how idiotic they actually are. Its good that these *******s are finally getting what they diserve. And when everyone realizes that these idiots are, and have always have been, suck-ups, Sonic will rise again.
But I also agree that there are some games that SEGA could have worked harder on. Though I never blame them for Sonic 2006. As for that, I blame the very father of Sonic, Yuji Naka. Who betrayed SEGA and the Sonic Team by leaving the company he had worked for for 20 years that very same year Sonic 2006 was being made. Along with taking 10 employees of the original Sonic Team with him to start his own company, Prope. I feel a great hatered to Naka for doing that.

| And they couldve done better on Shadowthe hedgehog as well.
Yuji Naka left?! And he took 10 employees?! What the hell is wrong with him?! Wasn't the creator of Sonic in the first place?

| Yep. He was the very game designer who made the first Sonic The Hedgehog, that was the first game to ever beat Nintendo's market share. He made gaming history with Sonic and was famous across the globe. He called Sonic his "beloved son", and still, he left Sonic in 06. And whats even worse is that he said that he wanted "Sonic to continue for another 50 to 100 years", and he left the very month before Sonic's 15th birthday. Way to help out SEGA and say Happy Birthday to your 'beloved son', as I always say. With him, he took 10 members of the original Sonic Team to form his own company: Prope. Another traitor is Naoto Oshima, who designed the very first drawing of Sonic. But he left in the '90's. Though he is not as much of a traitor as Naka. | |
