Well its none other than by the infamous Tails Doll. The legend of the so called Tails Doll curse has been with us since the 90's, and since then, this Sonic character has taken a huge place in Sonic history.
There are many versions to this horrible curse, and some actually send shivers down Sonic Fans' spines. Some even claim to have summoned the doll from behond the grave, some say that they've seen it, some are too afraid to try to mess with it, and some say that they've felt something while trying to summon it (of course, there is also the large amount of people who dont believe in it at all). The doll has even been given the same theme song from the movie, The Exorcist, besides the infamous "can you feel the sunshine?" theme. This topic is to start a small poll:

I actually heard an old rumour that a SEGA official was asked why they killed the tails doll and didnt feature it in any more games. the rumour says that the official's response was: "What do you mean? The Tails Doll still lives. Just in secret."

Mephiles, the most tails doll-looking sonic character since the actual tails doll, is revealed in 2006. in the game, Sonic 2006, he asked shadow:"what? you dont remember me?" refering to 10 years ago when mephiles was created and shadow sealed him while time-traveling with silver. now, 1997 (the year sonic r was released) to 2006.......how many years is that?

Wha? Really? Damn! I didn't ever realize Mephiles was like the Tails Doll.

Last year around February, Me and my friend, Cynder47 (You may remember her, if not, fine by me). We tried the Tails Doll curse, and holy crap this is not a lie. Her dog woke us up around 11:30-ish, barking at the bathroom where we did the curse. And I swear to god I saw light coming from an noises. Holy Sh*t we were f***ing scared, ok! We were up all night cuz of that, i haven't been so terrified in my life. Shocked

I believe you! I've had a tails doll experience myself!

When I first discovered the tails doll curse a while ago, I went all over youtube to find out things about it. Thats when I came across the phrase, "Can you feel the sunshine?". After that, I went around laughing and saying that phrase over and over again, not believing that anything was real. That night, I was walking by my bathroom when I said "Can you feel the sunshine?" one last time right before I was able to see my mirror in my bathroom, and when I looked at it, I saw a red ball of light right in the mirror for like a split second! No joke! It scared the Sh** outta me! And the wierd thing is that I felt that I needed to look at the mirror for no reason!
Theres something about that curse that is seriously real. And I'm a strong believer in ghosts.

I JUST HAD A FRIKIN ENCOUNTER I SWEAR TO GOD WITH ALL MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had just finished posting here, and then, like an idiot, I went on youtube again and started to watch tails doll videos! I watched a lot of videos before I got up and needed to get something from my basement. When I went down there, I brought my camera that I was using earlier because I suddenly felt undenyably spooked. I recorded myself snapping a little at things, and eventually I came close to a mirror down there, THATS WHEN I SAW A F***** RED HAZED BALL REFLECTING FROM MY OUTSIDE WINDOW!!! I HAVE IT ALL ON TAPE TOO!!!
